Meet Angela | Resting Soul Designs

Hi, I’m Angela — the hands and heart behind Resting Soul Designs. My journey with handmade jewelry began in the late 1990s as a creative outlet and has since grown into a lifelong passion. What started as making pieces for myself, friends, and family has evolved into something much bigger: a love for designing meaningful, nature-inspired jewelry with lasting beauty.

Over the years, I’ve refined my craft through hands-on classes in jewelry design, silversmithing, wire-wrapping, and working with pure silver clay. I even made felted wool beads once! Each technique I’ve learned adds another layer of intention and craftsmanship to my work.

I create using a thoughtful mix of high-quality materials:

Sterling silver for its timeless shine and strength
Austrian and Czech crystals for eye-catching sparkle
Natural gemstone beads for their organic beauty
Lampwork, borosilicate, and glass beads for bold color and artistic flair
And pure silver pendants crafted from molds of real seashells, leaves, and other natural textures I collect myself

I’m also passionate about sustainability. Many of my materials come from local bead shops, regional artisans, or thrift store vintage finds. I love breathing new life into forgotten treasures and often collaborate with clients to transform their family jewelry into pieces that feel fresh, wearable, and personal.
